Into the Flavor Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), operating as CloseFlow, operates the CloseFlow platform at https://closeflow.ca. The platform includes the CloseFlow SMS program, the defined term used in Section 6 of our Terms of Service.
Under the program, a licensed Ontario real estate agent sends text messages to their own contacts, using the CloseFlow platform as the sending tool, and only to contacts who have given that agent consent to receive text messages. Into the Flavor Inc. does not send its own marketing texts to consumers, and we do not buy, rent, sell, or share phone lists. Every message identifies a relationship you already have: the agent you booked with, contacted, or agreed to hear from.
Messages sent through the CloseFlow SMS program relate to your dealings with your agent. They include:
These are relationship and transactional messages between you and your agent. The program is not used for bulk cold outreach to people who have no relationship with the sending agent.
Consent to receive text messages is collected in one of the following ways. In every case, consent is optional and revocable: you can decline it without losing access to anything, and you can withdraw it at any time (see Section 6). Each consent is recorded with its source, method, and timestamp.
When you book an appointment through an agent's public booking page, the form shows an optional SMS consent checkbox, separate from the email-consent checkbox. The SMS checkbox is always shown and is unchecked by default. It stays disabled (greyed out) until you enter a phone number, since a text program needs a number to send to; once you enter a phone number the checkbox becomes checkable. Checking it is not required to book: if you leave it unchecked, your booking completes normally and you will not receive text messages. Section 4 shows the exact statement and an illustration of the control.
An agent's public hub page includes a contact form and a home valuation form, each with an optional phone field. Entering a phone number there is not consent to receive text messages. Numbers collected through those forms are not texted unless the agent separately records your express consent, for example the consent described in (a) or (c).
You may give an agent consent verbally, for example during a call, a showing, or an in-person meeting. The agent records that consent in the platform, including how and when it was given, before any text message is sent.
SMS consent is a separate, optional checkbox, distinct from the email consent and unchecked by default. The wording below is the exact text shown next to that checkbox on the booking form:
"I consent to receive SMS booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages from [agent name] through CloseFlow. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Optional; not required to book."
On the live form, [agent name] is replaced by the name of the agent you are booking with.
The control appears on the booking form as its own always-visible checkbox, below the separate email-consent checkbox. It is shown here in its default state: unchecked and disabled (greyed out) until a phone number is entered.
Enter a phone number above to enable SMS updates.
See the CloseFlow Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
The following disclosures apply to all messages sent through the CloseFlow SMS program:
Opting out of text messages does not affect any booking you have made, and it does not affect email communications you have separately consented to.
